CUSTODIAN: The Lisbon Public Schools are seeking applicants for the position of full-time custodian. This position will be 12-month position working approximately 50-55 hours per week with full benefits including PERS, Health Insurance, Uniform, vacation and other paid leave. ELEMENTARY TEACHER: Fort Ransom Elementary School has an opening for an elementary teacher for a combined classroom k-1. EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION LEAD TEACHER: Lead teacher for early childhood special education classroom working with students with disabilities ages 3-5 years old. Applicants must be able to obtain a teacher’s license in North Dakota. We will consider applicants with Elementary Education License. Preference for a fully certified special education teacher. Starting $34,000 plus signing bonus. Benefits include single health, holidays, sick leave, personal leave, both sides of teacher’s retirement paid by the unit. Lisbon Public Schools are fully accredited by the Department of Public Instruction and AdvancED. Applicants must meet certification requirements of North Dakota. We will consider individuals who best fit our needs and meet all accreditation standards. Special education applicants should qualify for at least a temporary special education licensure through ESPB with passing scores on the appropriate Praxis tests and applications may qualify for reimbursement for tuition from the special education unit for work completing their MS Degree. Our schools are fully involved in PLC’s and practice RTI-A and RTI-B. Our 2016-2017 base salary for a BS is $37,500 and MS $40,500. We pay both sides of TFFR Model 2, LTD, Term Life, and good portion of BC/BS Health Insurance. Increments are not capped after you reach the BS+32 lane and you can bring in all years of experience. Our 2016-17 school year begins with staff in-service on August 23, 2016.
