Imagination Library

Literacy is the most important aspect of a child’s learning career!
The Dolly Parton Imagination Library provides a free, high quality, age-appropriate book every month to children (0-5 years old) in our Lisbon School District.  Dolly’s vision in starting this program was to foster a love of reading among children and their families by providing them with the gift of a specially selected book each month.  Statistics and research have shown that Imagination Library drastically improves early childhood literacy for children enrolled in the program.  This program will improve our Lisbon’s Community quality of life for our children and their family.  Kori Knipple, Lisbon kindergarten instructor, has started the program for our community.  She is projecting 100 children in the Lisbon School District that would take part in the program.  The total yearly cost would be $2,500 or $25 per child.  If you would like to donate, please contact Kori at [email protected] or elementary school 701-683-4107.  Donation checks should be payable to: Lisbon Public Schools.
