ATTENDANCE: On Thursday, May 15, 2014 Supt. Johnson call called the special board meeting of the Lisbon School District #19 to order at 5:00 p.m. for Vice President Qual – who was calling in per phone. Members present were Mark Qual – by phone, Tim Mairs, Liz Anderson, and Matt Webb. Also in attendance were Supt. Justin Fryer and Lori Lyons.

CAPITAL PROJECTS – ELEMENTARY KITCHEN: Mr. Johnson reported that Mechanical Bids were opened today at 2:00 p.m. (bid opening minutes inserted below)

* On Thursday, May 15, 2014 Construction Bids were opened at 2:00 p.m. in the HS conference room. In attendance were: Steve Johnson, Lori Lyons, LyDell Mairs, Philip Nohr of Cote Mechanical, Jake Ledo & Curt Hovig of Custom Aire, Inc., and Justin Moeller of Bakkegard & Schell. Bids received and results are as follows: Bakkegard & Schell of Valley City – $55,982.00; Cote Mechanical, Inc. of Casselton – $109,590.00; and Custom Aire, Inc. of Grand Forks – $101,110.00. Lisbon School Board will meet at a special board meeting at 5:00 this afternoon to review. Lori Lyons, 5/15/2014

Bid tally sheets were reviewed. Anderson moved, seconded by Webb to approve the following bids for the Elementary Kitchen Project: General Contract – Swanberg Construction Inc. in the amount of $287,900.00 including addendum #1; Mechanical Contract – Bakkegard & Schell, Inc. in the amount of $55,982.00; and Hi-Line Electric, Inc. in the amount of $43,300.00 for a total project construction cost of $387,182.00. Approved by unanimous roll call vote.
