Chosen by the staff at Lisbon High School, Madisen Fellows, Caleb Olson, Cooper Houge, and Jillian Hughes are the January Students of the Month.
Madisen Fellows, senior, is the daughter of Shane and Nga Fellows. Madisen is conscientious about her grades and work. She does a great job of advocating and asking questions for clarification. She has put in the hard work to be successful this school year. She does well in participating in every small group class discussion held.
Caleb Olson, junior, is the son of Dan of Cindy Olson. Caleb comes to class prepared and ready to learn every day. He likes to get involved in classroom discussions and deepen the level of learning. A friendly individual, he treats his classmates and teachers with kindness and respect. He’s a fun person to have in class!
Cooper Houge, sophomore, is the son of Kevin and Kim Houge. Cooper is an asset to the classroom with his strong critical thinking skills as well as him humorous spirit. He is a team player, willing to work in any group assigned. Intrinsically motivated, Cooper displays a great work ethic and is a model student.
Jillian Hughes, freshman, is the daughter of Jeremy and Janae Hughes. Jillian excels in the classroom while being active in a variety of clubs and organizations. She is friendly and helpful to her peers. She is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure she understands the assignment. A true leader, she is in charge of and organizes many things within her organizations. She is a valuable asset.
