- Complications may include sudden onset of respiratory complications such as shortness of breath or difficulty breathing and new loss of taste or smell
- Prevention includes self-isolation, social distancing and wearing a mask
Both viruses are transmitted by respiratory droplets from an infected person, and both cause fever, chills, cough, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headaches, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea and diarrhea
